Connecting your channel is what powers Creator OS. Once you link your YouTube or Twitch account, Creator OS automatically pulls your stats and uses them to generate your media kit and populate your analytics dashboard. Without a connected channel, your media kit will not contain real data.
Creator OS only reads your public channel statistics. It never posts on your behalf or accesses private account data.
Connect a channel
Go to channel settings
In Creator OS, navigate to Settings > Channels.
Connect YouTube
Click Connect YouTube. You will be redirected to Google’s OAuth authorization screen.
Authorize access
Sign in to your Google account if prompted, then click Allow to grant Creator OS read-only access to your YouTube channel stats.
Confirm sync
After authorization, you are redirected back to Creator OS. You should see your YouTube channel listed under Connected Channels with a confirmation that your stats are syncing.
Go to channel settings
In Creator OS, navigate to Settings > Channels.
Connect Twitch
Click Connect Twitch. You will be redirected to Twitch’s authorization screen.
Authorize access
Sign in to your Twitch account if prompted, then click Authorize to grant Creator OS read-only access to your Twitch channel stats.
Confirm sync
After authorization, you are redirected back to Creator OS. You should see your Twitch channel listed under Connected Channels with a confirmation that your stats are syncing.
What data is synced?
Once your channel is connected, Creator OS syncs the following data automatically:
- Subscriber / follower count — your current total subscribers on YouTube or followers on Twitch
- Total views — cumulative views across your YouTube channel or Twitch streams
- Average views per video / stream — the average view count across your recent uploads or broadcasts
- Engagement rate — the ratio of likes, comments, and interactions relative to your views
Creator OS refreshes this data periodically. You can also trigger a manual sync from Settings > Channels at any time.
Disconnecting a channel
To unlink a channel, go to Settings > Channels, find the channel you want to remove, and click Disconnect.
Disconnecting a channel will remove its stats from your media kit. Your deal history and contacts will not be affected.
After disconnecting, your media kit will no longer display stats for that channel. If you reconnect the same channel later, your stats will sync again automatically.
